Educational Outing

On Saturday, 10.05.1025, the Primary Wing of St. Paul’s School organized an exciting and educational outing to the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, popularly known as the Darjeeling Zoo. The trip was aimed at giving our young students a refreshing break from their academic routine while offering them a valuable learning experience about wildlife and nature conservation.

The day began with bright smiles and buzzing excitement as students and staff boarded the jeeps. Upon arrival, the children were greeted by the cool mountain air and the lush greenery of the zoo, nestled in the lap of the Eastern Himalayas.

Students had the opportunity to see several endangered species, including the majestic snow leopard, the elusive red panda, Himalayan black bear, and various species of pheasants and birds. The enthusiasm among the boys was contagious as they eagerly observed the animals, asked questions, and read the informative boards placed near each enclosure.

The staff ensured the students were engaged, safe, and well-supervised throughout. A short break for refreshments allowed everyone to relax and enjoy the scenic beauty around. The children were also encouraged to note their observations.

The outing concluded with group photos, joyful chatter, and plenty of memories to cherish. It was truly a delightful and enriching day that strengthened bonds, fostered curiosity, and brought many happy faces together.

The Primary Wing extends heartfelt thanks to the Rector, Senior Master, Admin Staff Members and supporting team members who made this day a grand success.
