Hold onto Pride

St. Paul’s School extends sincere thanks to Mr. Ajoy Edwards, philanthropist and proprietor of the iconic Glenarys restaurant, for generously hosting our Under-7 basketball team for a luncheon at Glenarys. His kind gesture and inspiring words—urging the boys to persevere regardless of results, take pride in their roots, and never forget Darjeeling, “the most beautiful place on earth”—have left a lasting impression.

Mr. Edwards emphasized the importance of their formative years at St Paul’s , a place instrumental in shaping them into gentlemen and instilling the values that keep St. Paul’s flag flying high. We deeply appreciate his encouragement to “hold onto pride” and uphold the school’s legacy with dignity and resilience.

Thank you, Mr. Edwards, for your generosity, wisdom, and unwavering belief in our boys’ potential. Your support inspires them to strive for excellence while cherishing their childhood in Darjeeling.
