It is with great honor and privilege that we announce the induction of Mr. Agnelo Dennis as the Senior Master, bestowed upon him by The Rt. Revd. Dr. Paritosh Canning, the Bishop of Calcutta (CNI). Mr. Dennis embarked on his journey with St. Paul’s School in 1994, initially serving in the Primary Wing. His dedication and leadership shone through as he assumed various roles, Tenzing House Master in PW and Cable House Master in 2005. In 2010, he ascended to the position of Head of the English Department.
In 2023, Mr. Dennis further elevated his responsibilities by taking charge as the Head of the Primary Wing, demonstrating his commitment to nurturing young minds. In December of the same year, he was appointed as the Senior Master.
Throughout his tenure, Mr. Dennis has exemplified excellence in both academics and extracurricular activities. He has served as the Mic of Cricket, Squash, English Elocution, and Dramatics, leaving an indelible mark on the school’s cultural and sports landscape. Additionally, his directorial prowess has been showcased through his remarkable contributions to school plays, captivating audiences with his creative vision.
He was the editor of the Paulite Magazine and the Chronicle for several years. Furthermore, his role as the coordinator of ICSE and ISC examinations, along with his duties as a supervising examiner for ICSE, speaks volumes about his commitment to academic excellence.
Mr. Dennis’s achievements extend beyond the confines of academia, as he has proudly represented the school in prestigious tournaments such as the Edinburgh Cricket Tournament and the Gold Cup Football Tournament, earning well-deserved accolades for his cricket prowess.
As Mr. Dennis assumes his new role as Senior Master, we extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes. His leadership, dedication, and unwavering commitment to excellence will undoubtedly continue to inspire and shape the future of St. Paul’s School.
