Living up to these ideals, St. Paul’s School secured the Runner-Up position in the prestigious U-8 ICSE Interschool Basketball Championship with a performance defined by discipline, structure, and teamwork.
Under the leadership of captain Krishnendu Das and vice captain Stanzin Tsanleks, the team topped Pool A, recording decisive wins against Goethals Memorial School, Kurseong (20–7) and defending champions St. Joseph’s School, Darjeeling (24–20).
The final was a tightly contested game between St. Paul’s School and St. Augustine’s School, Kalimpong, where the team displayed tactical awareness and resilience, with the outcome decided by narrow margins.
The school extends its sincere appreciation to Coach Mr. Lakpa Sherpa, MICs Dr. Aayush Rai and Mr. Sanjive Rai, PTIs Mr. Diwakar Thapa and Mr. Prayag Chettri, and Mr. Punam Lama, Senior Master, for their continued guidance and support.
