Inter-House Debate

“All great ideas are controversial” was the theme of the 1st round of the Junior Wing Inter House Debate Competition. ‘Online classes are a boon for today’s educational system’ was the first topic. Betten was for the motion while Anderson was against the motion. The motion was dropped. Srinjoy Mondal from Anderson was adjudged the best speaker. The second topic was ‘Students should be allowed to use mobile phones at school’. Westcott was for the motion while Cable was against the motion. The motion was carried through and Sayantan Das from Westcott was adjudged the speaker.
