Senior Wing Inter-House Debate 2025

The finals of the Senior Wing Inter-House debate 2025 culminated on the 1st of September.

Havelock and Hastings debated on the motion “Freedom of Speech should be limited to protect public safety “ with Havelock winning the round and Lawrence and Clive debating the motion “Indian courts are slow and inefficient, leading to denial of justice” with Lawrence emerging victorious.

Havelock having won both their previous rounds were declared the Debate Champions for the year 2025.

Yavisht Shahveer Jamshedji, the school captain and Havelock House Captain was adjudged the best speaker winning the Airforce Medal for Best Debater.

I would like to place on record, my sincere gratitude to the Acting Administrator, Housemasters, Judges/Tabulators/Chairmans/Timekeepers for all six rounds of debates, debaters, PA/Photography/ Media department and the volunteers for all the help and support rendered to organise successfully conclude the debating for the year.
