A group of 10 boys visited their old school on 17th November, 2023 after 50 years for their Golden Jubilee Celebration coinciding with 200 years of St. Paul’s School.The boys received a warm welcome from our Rector Mr. Peter Lepcha as they joined the school boys for lunch and were introduced to the student body. Excellent weather in Darjeeling and the clear view of the Kanchanjungha made the visit extra joyful.The group re-lived their school life visiting all their favourite locations including Class rooms, Dormitories, Pavillion, Chapel Gardens, Gymn, School Hospital, Bustee and breath taking views from Dawkiins.
A special MATINS services was organized at the Chapel on 19th November, 2023. The
Congregation sang the most favourite Hymns / carols and the school song. The coincidental meeting with 4 Ex-Loreto Convent ladies on the Chapel stope brought additional cheers to the group as they were also visiting Darjeeling after 50 years.
The group of G-10 finally left Darjeeling with sweet memories of the bright Sunny weather through out their visit to their old school St. Paul’s ……… St. Paul’s …….. St. Paul’s
