‘It is better to debate a question without settling it than to settle a question without debating it.’Second round of the Junior Wing Inter House Debate Competition witnessed an interesting arguments and counter arguments between the competing houses.‘Discipline works as a hindrance to the individual growth’ was the first topic. Anderson House was for the motion while Cable House was against the motion. The motion was carried forward. Pragyum Prakash from Anderson was adjudged the best speaker.The second topic was ‘Expectations from parents lead to depression‘. Betten House was for the motion while Westcott House was against the motion. The motion was dropped and Sayantan Das from Westcott was adjudged the speaker.The last round will be a nail biting finish between Anderson House and Westcott House.
