Mother’s Day Celebration

Mother’s Day was celebrated with deep emotion and warmth at the Primary Wing, on Monday, 12.05.2025. Though away from their mothers, the young boarders expressed their love and gratitude through a heartfelt celebration that honoured the spirit of motherhood.

The event began with the khada ceremony, where the teachers (mothers) of the Primary Wing were symbolically honoured by the Head of the Primary Wing, Mr Smith. The programme continued with a warm welcome speech, followed by moving recitations in Hindi, Bengali, and Nepali, through which the students conveyed their love for their mothers.

A graceful dance performance by the students of Class 2 brought smiles and joy to all present. Special prayers were also offered for the health and happiness of all parents.

The day was a beautiful blend of joy, nostalgia, and affection—an emotional tribute from children who, despite the distance, found a way to celebrate the unconditional love of their mothers.
